Classes started on Friday and I welcomed 3 set of handlers and dogs, was lovely to meet everyone and the dogs. All did very well as a first session normally brings a little unsure nature from the dogs as its a big area, lots of new smells and sounds and of course your new course mates too. But all took it in their stride and did some lovely work. Working on recalls, bed/Settle to help promote calm behaviour, and teaching the dogs to go and lay down and relax, positions so teaching the sit down and stand, and the startings of a stays, progressions on for some and of course heelwork. All the dogs and handlers had a great session and I'm looking forward to seeing them all next week and their progress over the coming weeks.
Remember if you are interested in training sessions whether it be 1-1 sessions or classes just get in contact. It could be your dog has 'selective hearing' when you ask it to recall or your struggling with your dog pulling or understanding stays. You may have a new puppy or rescue dog and you want to start off the right way. Im here to help.
